Matted dogs are severely tangled or knotty, they are at a much higher risk of injury, stress and trauma. All precautions will be taken to avoid this, however problems can arise during and after grooming, such as nicks, irritations and stress. Alpha Dogs grooming is not liable in the event of things occurring from and after matted shave downs. Alpha Dogs Grooming will not and cannot brush out excessive matts and knots. It is painful and unnecessary.
Fleas are an easily managed external parasite that causes horrific irritation to your pet. In the event your pet is booked in with fleas there will be a $15 charge on top of your grooming fee to cover the cost of a flea bomb and flea rinse. Alpha Dogs grooming is not liable for the irritation caused by the fleas or the removal of them. Please note fleas carry tape worm and dogs need to be wormed as well of flea treated .
Alpha Dogs Grooming requires a minimum 24 hours notice for a single spot appointment and 48 hours for a double or more spot appointment in the event of cancellation. Less than that amount of notice will require a $25 fee per dog to recover the costs of lost income. You will not be given the opportunity to rebook if you have no showed more than once. (Obvisiously special cases considered)
Alpha Dogs Grooming works on a scheduled system to ensure all care is taken with every dog in the salon. Dogs must be dropped off at arranged appointment time, and picked up within 30 minutes of message or call to you. Daycare will be charged at $10 for every 10 minutes. If you need to organise your dog to stay longer, this must be done prior to appointment.
